  1. So is GCC the only college that hasn't sent their letters out? Fingers crossed for everyone still waiting!!
  2. I contacted the PVCC nursing program coordinator and she said they were going to start sending out tomorrow. Someone who applied to SCC said their advisor told them late in the week or next week and another said a nursing advisor from Phoenix College said Friday. I wonder what was different this year? Looking back at all of the previous cycles, at least one school starts sending theirs out on the first day and the rest the next two days. Even last cycle in June (with the craziness of covid being still newish) they were on time.
  3. Fun question for you all while we wait.. Who is the first person you're going to tell?! I was so excited to work this weekend thinking it would fly by. I was soo wrong. This weekend has dragged! And from reading other threads it doesn't sound like many emails go out on Mondays.. Seems like the majority go out Tuesday or Wednesday. My first choice is PVCC and it seems like they're one of the schools that sends theirs out later in the week. But I'm sure I'll be refreshing this page and my email like crazy starting tomorrow! Good luck to you all! We've worked so hard to get to this point!
  4. I submitted my application in December and I’ve been fine this whole time. But this past week has been tough and this next week is going to be even more tough. I’m getting sooo anxious!
  5. Yay I'm glad there's a post up for this coming cycle! I still haven't decided which community college I will make my first choice. Anybody have any insight? I'm between PVCC and GCC. I live at 59th ave and 101. Mileage wise, GCC is closer, but time wise, they're about the same since I live so close to the 101. My university of choice is ASU though. English - 94% Math - 92% GPA: 3.79 Overall points: 84.56

    HESI through PVCC

Yes, but you have to use the one that’s provided through the HESI exam. You can’t use your own. There is one built into the exam.

    HESI through PVCC

Hi! Scheduling was pretty simple. When I called to schedule mine, they had a pretty open schedule and I was able to pick what day I wanted. I think I called on a Friday and was able to schedule for the following Monday. I would assume it gets harder to schedule the closer it gets to CEP app deadlines though. Times are a little trickier since it's a 4.5 hr test. You pretty much only get a morning or afternoon time. They do let you know right away. You're able to see your score for each subject right when you submit it. You're able to take them in any order you want. I didn't think it was too difficult. I used the HESI admission assessment exam review to study. Ordered it from Amazon and it was a pretty good study tool. Biggest suggestions: study your conversions (oz to ml etc), know your fractions, and brush up on some vocab words. Yes you do need a webcam. They watch you live while you take it.

    HESI through PVCC

Just in case anyone is curious since I didn't get any replies, I took my HESI test today from home. The set up was pretty easy. You "meet" on Google meet and then click to present your screen so they can see everything that you are doing on your screen as well as through the webcam. They give you the link and you take your test. You just have to show your blank pieces of scratch paper. Thats pretty much it.

    HESI through PVCC

Has anyone taken the HESI from home since COVID? I was curious to know what it was like. I'm trying to schedule a time to take it now through PVVCC. Thanks 🙂
