I have a 3.87/4.33 gpa, feel like that’ll land between 3-2?? Wish I got more personal looking back on my supplemental though! And didn’t feel amazing about the CASPer. Good until the personal questions and then I blanked

Does anyone know - if you’re still in progress in a course, like myself in working on the A&P, would we have less of a chance, or do they not consider this in acceptance/rejection unless you don’t finish it by June 15?

Yes!!! Definitely a celebration night in Van is needed. The application and waiting process is SO painful. Here’s hoping we all get in, and if not, we can help each other better our applications for the following year! Strength in numbers

Totally! A new school and intense program is intimidating enough!! My GPA on my last 30 is a 3.88/4.33, BA in psych, program coordinator for company supporting adults with severe mental illnesses and developmental disabilities. I volunteer for a outreach team supporting exploited woman on the street. Am recently heading the Narcan team for the volunteer organization now but I started this new role after I applied sadly!!

Awesome!! Best of luck! I love Penticton, such a beautiful area! I live in Vernon but work in Lake Country!

No I didn’t, I thought about it but the thought of 4 years was brutal! I love my job and being able to work, so I decided that I’d rather work another year and save and do things to bolster my application to re apply next year if needed! I really wish ubco had an accelerated program!!

Thank you!!! Yes the CASPer was the hardest part for me, I definitely felt some of my answers weren’t the best in hind sight, but what’s done is done! I did have some volunteering on my application, but have recently started a new volunteer position I wish I could go back and add on im from ubc okanagan! Anyone else from the okanagan area?

I too have applied! I have a BA in psychology and have worked the last two and a bit years in the mental health/developmental disabilities field. I also do special needs tutoring on the side. My GPA on the last 30 credits was 83.5, not sure how I did on the Casper test! The waiting is brutal.
