UCF/Seminole State Concurrent Program Summer 2019

For anyone in the same predicament: AA or GEP completed is not a factor that the application committee looks at when deciding to accept or decline your application. It is a factor that an accepted application is contingent on and needs to be completed prior to the first day of classes. I emailed UCFNURSE and got responses from UCF nursing advisors.

    Broward college nursing program 2019

Hey! I have a few questions... If you are in north campus, how is it going so far? I've heard a few horror stories.. I am not going to be done A&P2 until the end of this semester, so I wont be able to apply until then...that doesn't play a role in the application process does it? Like is it first come first served? How long is the actual program? I will be applying to the Summer 2019 start, so will I have class every summer? I'm assuming the program is 2 years. How often do you have class/clinical a week? THANK YOU!!!

Health Professions Loan Repayment Program (Army/Airforce)

Hello all. I found a document (army): http://www.wamc.amedd.army.mil/EducationAndResearch/SiteAssets/HPSP%20OTSG%20Forms/r601_141.pdf It states: "Loan repayment is authorized only for expenses that occur after the point that a person would be eligible for commissioning as a health services officer in the AFHPSP/FAP." also ineligble: Undergraduate (pre-professional degree) loans or loans incurred prior to eligibility for commissioning So I guess this would include pre-requiste classes.
  12. Hello, I am wondering if the health professions loan repayment program only applies to nursing school loans? I pay for my on campus housing using loans, so would that be included too? Also, would my student loans that I have for my prerequisite courses (anatomy, microbiology etc) that allowed me to get into nursing school be covered under this loan repayment program? My student loans are high (90-100k), however only about 40k of that is directly from nursing school. I want to make sure if I defend my country and be a part of the military that I have at least SOME of it paid off through the government. Besides this, if anyone knows of any more loan benefits from the military, please share! THANKS!

    Air Force Nursing Corps

Hello, Does the Air Force offer any loan repayment for nurses? Also, if I do AFROTC in college and become a commissioned officer, am I automatically in the nurse corps after everything is signed and done?

    Airforce/Military Nurse Officer?!?

Hi everyone, Please bare with me as I have just been introducted to this idea, and don't yet know too much detail about correct terminology etc. I am thinking about joining AFROTC at my school in order to becoming an Airforce officer. I was wondering if people can give me any details about: - How long are the officer contracts? Are they a mix of active and non active duty? - What benefits do I have when I'm not active? - How long into my contract can I go back to school? - Will I ever have to go to war? What is the likelihood? - Any information about the health professionals loan repayment program would be helpful!! - What would my job consist of as a nurse officer? Both on the nursing and government side - Is the income/salary better than civilian nursing? - How long do I need to serve if I'm looking to retire in the airforce? THANKS 4 any HELP!!!
