  1. Has anyone had any experience going for a skilled nursing home to hospice? What was your job satisfaction before and after? I’m very nervous about the transition, but as many on here, have been experiencing nursing home burn out after 9 years of STNA, lpn and RN. After my BSN in March I plan on going on for FNP to possibly stay in hospice if I love it!

    Night shift LPN going for RN

    I'm currently a Lpn working night shift. I am planing to go back to a bridge program at the end of the month. I work full time 12 hour shifts. However I was offered a day shift position, so I'm wondering what does everyone think about which is better to work while going to school? Days for the better sleep schedule or nights so I can study while at work? Nightshift on my unit typically has 2-3 hours of down time per night.
