What is so hard about becoming a nurse? If you go to a community college, you can receive your ADN in 2 years. I have been and gone through nursing school and it is not as "hard" or "impossible" as some people describe it. There was WAY MORE harder majors out there.
If your dream is to become a nurse, then do it! Dont let anything stop you from achieving your goals! However, I do think 35 is a bit on the older side. If I were you, I would start taking my prerequisite classes ASAP.
I found that in my nursing classes, they reteach the material to you. Its hard to remember specific details if you haven't taken anatomy in a while, but as long as you understand the concepts, then you should be fine!
I think the maximum amount of money a nurse should make is $100,000, and thats after several years of experience. Considering how easy it is to become a nurse and the limited amount of time it takes, I think this is a fair amount. If a nurse wants to earn more then that, they can become an APRN.
