What is a good continuing professional development plan for a new grad FNP?  What are good goals for first month, 6 months, 1 year, and 5 years?

1. Achieve specialty certifications

2. Precept students

3. Continue to obtain CME relevant to current practice

4. Expand knowledge base

Are these goals you need for your eval? Or ???

I am currently in FNP school and need to write up a plan for continued professional development including goals for those 4 increments.  I am not sure of what goals or milestones are appropriate for each increment.  I have not started clinicals yet so I am unsure of my current abilities.

Thanks for the explanation. I moved this to the student NP forum for more pertinent answers.
