Well, I have to say that so far nursing has been going well for me, and I'm very excited about (possibly...hopefully!) becoming a nurse practitioner in the future. But...

I do love to cook and bake, and if culinary ventures had the same stability/potential for advancement/income potential as nursing, I'd love to go to pastry school and then open my own bakeshop and coffee house.

If not professional duckpin bowler or lottery winner, I still would have been a nurse but gone into midwifery in my mid thirties. I am an RN w/ MSN but long for something more clinical than education and now I am an old grey lady. I still may be a CNM when i grow up!:)

At 22 I wanted to be a nurse.....what can I say--I tend to have a one-track mind. Lottery winner would be nice; I could still nurse but do it part-time.....so I could travel more.....

A veterinarian (which is what I wanted to be as a child) or a therapeutic riding instructor. Heck, I'm 23...so who knows? If this whole nursing thing doesn't start fulfilling me soon I'll pursue something else. I don't care much about the money. I just want a job where I would not rather kill myself than go to work. No joke.
