Ok. I really could use some feedback. Right after graduation I am moving to San Diego (June 1st). I plan on taking boards in cali and it seems that I am ineligible to receive an interim permit since I need to report a prior conviction on my board application. I have a DWI from 1984. It looks like I will need to hold off on any job hunting for several months because of this. My question is - is there any way around this? Cali is strict. In Minnesota the appl is 2 pages and we only go back 5 years on convictions.
Thank you in advance for any feedback you have.

questions we seem to be encountering more and more often have to do with the effects of a criminal history on nursing licensure:
these are questions that the members of allnurses.com cannot answer. the only reliable source of information is your state board of nursing.
