Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hi,

I am a prospective nursing student at the CCAC Boyce campus in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I will be taking the PAX-RN exam soon. I need to know how to prepare for the vocabulary section of the exam. Should I consult SAT or GRE vocabulary preparation materials? Also, am I allowed to bring my own calculator to the exam?

thank you in advance for your help.

I'm in the same boat! I have GRE vocabulary preparation books and I also want to know if I should consult them.

I just took the PAX exam. I used the GRE vocabulary flash cards. Surprisingly, some of the words that came up on the vocabulary part of the exam were from the flash cards. however, most of the vocabulary is common knowledge. hope this helps!
