Preparation for the cpne

Published

Greetings,

I am trying to make an informed decision with limited resources! So that being said, can those who have successfully taken the CPNE tell me which workshop you felt prepared you the best for what you actually encountered during the CPNE ? I have read previous post. I am looking for any recent info..Thanks.

There used to be a thread in the distance learning section. Not sure if it is still there, but it was good on preparing.

West coast Tina in San Jose CA. http://www.cheducation.com Many recommendations from people in class who had been to other workshops and said this was the one that was the best.

If you are planning on attending a CPNE workshop, the deciding factors you may consider is your location, your resources and your CPNE date.

I attended Sheri Taylors workshop in Atlanta, there was a lot of information passed out during the workshop, also there is continued support before your test date. Sheri will give you care plans to do and she scores them within 24 hours. If you are planning on testing in Atlanta, she will critique the information the day before you test. Also if you happen to fail a lab, she will open the office for you to practice before your retest.

I know there are persons on this forum that feel that if the instructor did not do the CPNE themselves that instructor is not able in teaching CPNE material. I did the workshop and enjoyed it.

She also offers an online program less cost, no hands on but the same material.
