Preop Evaluation Center Job?

Anyone ever work at a preop evaluation center?

There was a job opening for a preop eval center. Just curious if anyone ever worked in one as a nurse before. It's not being a preop nurse in surgery. It's a preop evaluation nurse. I'm a preop nurse right now. 

The job role is essentially ensuring that  preop testing has been conducted and that the patients anesthesia team has access to all essential information on the day of the surgery. So I think a lot of chart checking and phone calls.

Anyone have experience with this? Do you like it?
