If I'm unsure where I belong and what I like in nursing where should I precept?

A community clinic by me will be hiring and i believe in public health . I'm interested in keeping my options open, maybe doing a new grad program. I don't see myself in ED,oncology or ICU.

The ED provides a broad picture of public health given the breadth of patients that are seen there -- particularly if it's a mixed adult/pediatric department.

Starting out in a clinic my very well consign you to doing nothing else.

Generally speaking, for someone unsure of what they'd like to do, various flavors of medical-surgical floors are a good place to learn solid assessment, patient-care, and time-management skills.
