Pre-req's: A & P I and II classes

Published

Is it important to take A&P I and A&P II back to back--is there a lot of continuity that would be lost if I take one this fall and one in the fall of 2018?

I took my first semester during a winter session earlier this year. I fully intended to take the second semester this spring semester, but I was feeling burned out and I had some things that I needed to take care of that clashed with the lab time I had. Deciding to take the class later worked out so well for me. I am taking the summer to review my A&P I material and preview the info from A&P II. See how you are feeling after the first semester. If you need a break take it. If you do take a break, you'll be responsible for relearning the information before the second semester.

At the end of the day, youre still going to have to review the material anyway before you enter a nursing program.

I did, but I think I would have been fine if I hadn't. I still had my book and could review concepts as necessary when they came up. There's a lot of cross over, but it's more "hey, remember this tissue you learned in week 1? Well this is where it is!".
