hello everyone,
I am currently enrolled in a community college doing my prerequisites for the BSN nursing program at Nazareth college. my question is; once I finish taking the prerequisites for nursing and transfer, will I be starting from freshman year or it depends on how many credits I have. Lets say I have 60 credits, and most of them are not science related or nursing related classes, will i be starting from junior year?
thank you

I believe you'd be a junior (at least we were). It's honestly not that important.

You will have to check with your school because over here they dont count those pre requisites as nursing credits

General Education credits that count toward your degree, and transfer, are what is used to tabulate standing as far as "how far in" you are in your schooling. That said, since nursing programs are two years of clinicals whether you are in an ADN or BSN program, terminology such as "freshman" and "senior" aren't terribly relevant.
You will graduate when you have met your core requirements for nursing as well as any general education requirements, whether you do it in four years...or more.
