Who is waiting on the letter?

Where did you apply?

What type of program?

I'm hoping to hear from all of you that are as stressed out and hyped up as I am. :monkeydance:

The app deadline for my school was 9/15 too and they said you should hear back around 10/15 but I heard back about a week after 9/15. Then again, I did apply at midnight the second applications were made available ;)

I can't wait for orientation in November! They said that's when we get our uniforms and other goodies. Yay.

Where did you apply???????????? I'm also waiting for THE letter. Are you in SO Calif?

Specializes in geriatric LTC and loving it.

Oh yeah, I'm waiting. Doing some coursework whilest waiting too. Just got my PSB test (pre-nursing program exam) results. Looks as though I'll probably get my letter unless I really mess up in the classes I'm taking at the moment.

I'm told I'll hear by the end of March whether I'm in the Fall, 2007 nursing class or not.

I applied Sept 14th, the due date. We are to get our letters mid-late Oct for the ADN program. I found the letter in the mailbox last night...opened it...and guess what... i'm in!!! I then remembered laying in my bed with my cat pestering me...

What's this...?A dream?! A fricken dream about getting my letter?! NOOO!!!

:zzzzz :selfbonk: :banghead:

I am still waiting.....my letter is supposed to be here any day. They said two to three weeks after the 21st of Sept. It is now two weeks and two days. The letter I'm really hoping for won't be here until March. I am excited to get into either program though. I can't wait to hear when you all get yours!! Best wishes to all!!

Hey Kung Fu, funny dream!! hahaha, I'm glad that hasn't happened to me. You are in Rockford, did you apply to Rock Valley? I met 1st year nursing student from there today, she said the GPA cutoff was above 3.5. I applied to SACN don't know what their cutoff will be, just hope I get in!!

Where did you apply???????????? I'm also waiting for THE letter. Are you in SO Calif?

I applied to MUSC. It's in Charleston, SC.

Urrgghhh! I'm sitting on pins and needles too! Our deadline for the L.A.-USC County Program was 9/15 also. Get this...they said they usually get the letters out the first week of DECEMBER! How nerve racking is that?

I feel confident out the entrance exam and my GPA is 3.75, but there's just hundreds of people for 50 spots. So, I could have all the 'requirements' but it is totally a point system. They say last semester they accepted a low gpa of 2.5 and lowest point value of 69.

I have 3.8gpa and 69 points. I feel pretty good - but you just never know.

It's going to be a long 2 months!!!

I Am Waiting For My Acceptance Letter Into Macon, But I Want To Say Whats Up To Mixy Because I Now Live In Atlanta But I M From Syracuse, Ny.

I am waiting on the letter. I applied to an ADN program at El Centro in Texas. The deadline to apply was Aug 31st and we should get the letter by this Friday (Oct 13th)! Can't wait to find out if I am in. Good luck to eeryone else waiting to get their letters.

I am waiting on the letter also. I applied to Southern Union, Troy, and Wallace in Alabama. The deadline for Southern Union Oct. 2, & Oct 15 For Troy University, and Wallace. I should hear something in 2 weeks from SU. I'm excited about returning to RN school. Ihate to leave my job. I wish you all well and that you get your heart's desire.

Specializes in surgical oncology.

I am waiting on my letter with the rest of you. Our deadline was August 31. I got a letter last week, it was a very skinny envelope and I about died. It turned out to be for Phi Theta Kappa. I thought my heart was going to burst through my chest as I opened the envelope. I thought maybe I compared so poorly that they went ahead and told me quickly that I wasn't accepted. :jester: I can laugh about it now..... I have applied to El Centro Community College in Dallas. We should know in a couple more weeks. Good luck to all.

Specializes in Ortho/Neurosurgical.

Well ladies (and any gents that may read or post), I hand delivered my intent to participate today to school. I was not trusting the postal service with my life and career. Our first orientation is November 3rd. I'm so friggin excited. Plus I interviewed for a earn as you learn program with a local hospital, so hopefully I'll get a second interview.

Hi nrs2b.

May I ask--what is "earn as you learn?"

My sister is in an ADN program in BCC (South Florida), and she has contracted with a hospital to work for them after graduation (and they pay for her tuition/book/expenses while she's in school).

Is this the same sort of thing? And if so, where is it? (I'm in Florida too!)

Thanks and Congrats! That is REALLY exciting!!! :yelclap:
