I took the teas about a week ago and ONLY studied the guide and I got a 92%!! you should do fine if you are using the guide... make sure you know how many cups are in a gallon!
Wow, Congrats!:) Thats great. I did the online assessment and I scored an 89 composite. To be considered for the program, I need to score in the top 70th percentile. Do you know what percentile your score was??
Goodluck, Im sure you will do great. I've like memorized this damn studyguide,I dont think I can stud anymore, lol. Anyway, let me know how you did and any tips you can give me, thanks!:)

Good luck. I only used the study guide and got in the 99th percentile. The main advice can give - do not stop and get stuck on any one question...put in your best answer & then move on. You can go back to it if you have time. Better to get 10 questions right and 1 wrong than 1 right and not answer 10!

I scored an 89 composite.
I was around there too and it was the 98th percentile. That will definitely be good enough!
I agree, study all the conversions! Metrics to english and within each system. I bombed on those!
But overall I didn't study as much as I had planned and thought it was way easier than I expected.

i took mine a little over a month ago and got a 94% composite (99% percentile) studying only the guide - i actually thought the test itself was easier than the guide.
advice: when in doubt go with your gut instinct - don't second guess yourself.
practice the math as much as possible - it's not hard, but you need to be able to work fast - that was the only section i felt pressed for time on.
GOOD LUCK! :smiley_aa
What kind of science questions are on the test?

Hi Katiem
My hubby sat the TEAS and got in the top 10% out of 116 students. He studied using the guide and worked through the book several times. Practiced his timing in getting all sections done in a reasonable time so he had time to do the whole thing.
He said it was tough going time wise but if you use the guide and study well you should be ok.
Congrats and all good things for you future. BTW Hubby got accepted in to the Nursing Program Fall 2007! Yayyy
I'm having trouble remembering . . . but I can tell you for sure there was almost no anatomy, so I wouldn't spend a ton of time on that. I think there was only one anatomy question. There was definitely at least one question about genetics, you know that whole dominant/recessive thing (which I have a bit of a hard time with!) and some "interpreting data" kind of questions.
Good luck!
Thank you kluellen! Do you remember if there were a lot of chemistry and physics questions?
