Spring 2018 JFK Muhlenberg

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey, I was just wondering of anyone accepted into the accelerated Spring 2018 program. They received my completed application last week and I was wondering about how long it took to receive a letter of whether or not you were accepted!

Thanks!

Hey!! Finally found someone who also applied to the accelerated nursing program at Muhlenberg! I just applied as well for spring 2018. I received the email they received every thing. When I spoke to the lady from admissions before I sent my application she said 2 weeks. Even though the email says about 5 weeks! I'm praying we both get in!!

That's good to know! I'm always anxious when I get the mail now! Friday will be two weeks for me so, if I get anything I will post! Fingers crossed we both get good news!

Yesss! I check my mail everyday. Today makes a week for me. I'm interested to know what weigh more during the application process since they took out TEAS exam. Do you happen to know? Also my name is Trecia.

Hey! Just wanted to let you know I received my acceptance letter yesterday! I'm not sure what weights they hold on everything. My undergrad GPA was only ok, but I have taken all my sciences through my county college this year and got an A in all of them, so I would say its overall GPA and how you did in those classes. Hope you get good news soon too!

Congrats. I got accepted as well. Just checked my mailbox.

How many classes do you have to take before you start the first nursing class. I can't believe it's only offered one time a year. Hoping the classes I have will fulfill everything so I can just start the nursing classes in January

I have taken all my classes. Because of my undergraduate degree. So in January I start the clinicals. What classes are you missing? Attached to the acceptance letter it has our evaluation form which indicates which classes were accepted and the ones you need to complete. I know I have to take the pharmacology class. But Norma said we can take it in November.

It's says I need English 2, psy 204 and principals of organic Chem, I have my bachelors as well and have an email into her, I don't think I should need eng 2 with my bach, I took a class at Rutgers called the child in America which I'm hoping they will count towards the psy class and my intro to Chem was for medical Fields so I'm hoping after talking to her they will

Count those and I can start

Yeah you should definitely have English 2 because you have your undergraduate degree. As far as the principles of organic biochemistry you need to take that specific class. Because I have a biology degree and they didn't transfer my gen chem 1 and 2. And you specifically need psych life span development which is psych 204 I took those two classes at union county.

Jane has been out of the office but I'm hoping they'll somehow transfer my credits. The Intro to Chem

I took was for medical fields so I'm hoping if I submit the syllabus she will accept it. Fingers crossed

I hope it goes well. So we can take clinicals together
