  1. Does anyone have any information about Simmon Nursing school ASN to NP program? I know it is pricey, but any other information would be greatly appreciated.

The short answer to your question is: Programs

The longer answer is: keep your goals in stages. You will be surprised as to in how many ways you can develop your nursing skills other than going for NP. You might find that is the right path for you, but you could also find yourself changing your original plans.

My advice: Graduate with your ASN and get your RN license. Start working as an RN and complete your BSN as you work (it is doable). Give yourself time to explore the different venues in which you can focus or expand your skills. Once you have some experience and are more confident on the path you want to follow, plan out your Master's and Doctorate's degrees. There is a lot to learn on the floor that schools do not teach you. Your experiences will help you decide the direction you should take.

    Hope this helps!
