NLN Results....

I took my test on 1/27....I read on here some people are getting their results back in 12 days...well that's today. Does anyone who took their test that day have theirs back? How about those of you that took it just before then...are your results back yet?

I was fine this morning until I looked out my window and saw the mailbox. Then it hit me. Now I'm a NERVOUS NERVOUS NERVOUS wreck!!

Alrighty...hmmm. Well I'll be waiting on the mail truck.

I took my NLN yesterday and I am just planning on retaking it in 6 months cause ummm, yeah...I didn't feel I knew crap. Those Vocab words, I was like wt?? Glad there was more reading comp, i seem to do okay w/ that. The math...oh goodness! The science, I was like huh? When did I miss this class? I took Bio 130 this was before they had 189. So i'm thinking umm maybe I better go take 189 and refresh myself..I dunno. Good Luck everyone!

Hi All!

I spoke to the Nursing Advisor at Hunter college and she told me that while she was really sorry this happened to me, there was nothing she could do about it. To be honest, i knew there would be nothing she could do about it! For those who were wondering, I cant take it for Hunter again until next year. They only have a Fall program. Calvbee, did you get accepted to the school you wanted? Im just curious, how do all your schools use the NLN as procedure for getting accepted? At Hunter, its 50% GPA, 50% NLN. Is iot the same for the rest of you guys???

I was trying to get into the Spring 2008 Program. I am going to retake the test on July 28. The cut-off to apply is Sept 3. I could kick myself, for my mistake.

A friend of a friend of a friend lol got hers today, but doesn't know what they mean. I am reading this off of a fax, but I think I have it right. I think the Composite Percentile Score is how she is scored as she applied to a community college an AD which puts her at 90%. Am I right?! Help!! lol

Composite:

130

It then says Composite Percentile Score next to that on the right:

DI-95

AD-90

ALL-91

the DI mean Diploma but i dunno what the ALL is.

Those three columns would be her composite percentile compared to group norms (or testtakers who took the same test as her).

DI - Compares her to those who are applying to diploma programs

AD - " to those applying to associates

ALL - " to both combined.

Hey Guys I finally got my NLN score in the mail today...composite score of 139 (96th percentile)...My GPA is 3.5 and I only pray that its enough to get me into Hunters program especially since this is the only school I applied to!!

CONGRATULATIONS!! What an awesome score - You must be thrilled! At least you can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Now all we have to do is wait 2 MONTHS praying that we get accepted. Im glad im not alone here applying to Hunter. One minute Im hopeful, the next minute Im not. Aaaaghh! Its so annoying.

Again, you did fab girl. Be proud! So far, I think it's me, you, Caeiluna and Santa Cruz that have applied to the Hunter program - GOOD LUCK TO US! I, too, have only applied to one program, so I feel your pain!

All you girls have incredible NLN scores - I am jealous (lol), but really happy for you.

There seems to be something wrong with this thread. I replied to Trini's NLN score this morning and from what i see there were more replies, but im not able to view them. Is anybody else havin this problem??? PLEASE HELP!
