Micro whining

This is getting hard and I'm scared I can't do well enough to get the grade I need. :sofahider I'm not a quitter and I don't usually whine (too much outside my own head), but I had to share this with people who would understand.

HA, I was in your shoes last fall, I was just resolved to get a C or worse in the class.....how did I end up with a B? Even though it was kick butt hard for me, the teacher saw that I wanted to understand so I think he mad mercy on me. Plus, I think he realized that I had a hard time understanding his accent. It took me the longest to understand...."shebluagar" Sheep's blood Agar.

I would suggest for you to talk with the instructor. I totally understand, Micro was thheee hardest class for me thus far.

I COMPLETELY understand, have been there and done plenty of whining myself :wink2:

Keep studying as hard as you possibly can. You will get through it.

Micro was the hardest for me too but my professor made it so much fun. Just study a little bit every night and keep on top of things. You can do it!

My professor gave essay tests! Here's an example:

"Using the anatomical structures exterior to the cell wall as examples discuss the requirements for a successful infection."

Thanks everyone for the supportive words and advice!

I think we all are...I actually changed schools to avoid advanced Chemistry...I don't see the point past regular Chemistry...that is what the lab is for. I found a program that was bigger on the AP and Micro, which I found to be more material, but easier to understand.

I wish you luck.

I'm in Micro this semester and I'm HATING every minute of it. The material is explained to us in a way that makes it easy to understand, lucky for us. But, it's just the material. Hate it, hate it, hate it. Don't get me wrong. I'm digging in and trying to make the best grade I can, but I'm hating every minute of having to take this class.

I reeeealllly enjoyed A&P, enjoyed going to class, and LOVED lab with dissections. That was great! But, micro? Gimme a hot, sharp (heck, gimme a blunt one) rod to drive into my eyeballs instead of making me take micro!!

I'm glad there are people that are excited about it...otherwise I couldn't vaccinate my girls against the chickenpox that I had as a child. But...UGH. Just UGH.

Well, if they made this a sticky, I am sure I would have my own whining to add next semester. :uhoh21:

And I will be here to offer you my shoulder to cry on :wink2:

YOU WILL DO FINE, you have been such a good student and friend.

I can either take Microbiology or Disease Processes. Disease processes is fewer credit hours but more memorization. Decisions, decisions.

Our Micro was Microbiology/Pathology combined 4 credit hour with lab.

Awww. How nice. Thank you. I kind of like having friends. It is even better to have a few who really know what you are dealing with. I have a few who arent in school, but they dont really know what all I am going through, or why I am doing it.
