Is anyone going to Nursing school in Missouri??

Hi!

I live in St. Louis and might be attending St. Louis CC in the Fall unless I end up moving to AZ!

I was accepted for the spring semester, but due to personal reasons had to take a deferral.

So, while I'm in the "Show Me State", I'm not particularly close to where you live!!

wdwpixie, Good to know there is someone out there! Sorry you had to defer for spring, hopefully everything works out for you! Thanks for your 'best wishes', I think I'll need them. Fun2care, I'm sure that you'll be hearing from me, I start on Jan 3 and I'm getting really apprehensive!!

But I'm a RN 2 be, graduate Dec 07, so I'm on the countdown now!!!

I left a similar thread on another forum, but I think it should have been left here..No one answered :imbar I just recently got accepted for Jan 06 nursing school at SBU/St. Johns College of nursing in Springfield, Mo...Is there anyone out there that is going there (either now or in future) ?

Hey! I used to live in Springfield. I am now in Kansas City and attending UMKC. I can't go to school with you but I lived in Spfd area for 12 years and have friends that go to school there. We're still both in nursing school and I'd be happy to help you out via forum any way I can.

Cool, I can't wait. January 3rd is the first day of class...I'm really nervous though. Good luck at both schools (St. Louis &Kansas City). I've never lived in Springfield, I live in West Plains, so I'll be commuting each day but....I'm nursing school bound! I have all but 1 of my books purchased, will get my uniforms first day of school, just bought my lab coat and shoes. I guess I'm REALLY GOING! Now the fun starts...ugh!

I am way up north...I am in the ADN program at North Central Missouri College in Trenton. I graduated in August '05 from the LPN program and currently work in a small rural hospital.

Hi Hoppermom, I don't know where Trenton is at. I'm not much for northern Missouri...I hope school goes good for everyone from good ole' Mo...I can't wait to start, it's just 1 day away now!!!
