I don't have real specific information about these sections for you but you can download study guides here: https://sites.google.com/site/apinnerworkings/

This is my site and you can go to the HESI A2 tab under "free stuff." At the bottom of the page, you can download HESI information and study guides. I hope this steers you in the right direction. Good luck.

...i too am studying for the hesi and in need of help with chemistry and biology since its been years since i've taken it...

i didn't have to take the chemistry part but i did take the biology part. like you, i haven't taken a biology course in years. i used the mcgraw hill and the evolve study guides and i would say every biology question on the test was in one of those 2 study guides. i ended up with a 96% on the biology section. it definitely was not that bad. i went through the the evolve study guide and created my own notes, then i read and highlighted the mcgraw hill guide, then i went back over the notes i created and the highlighted parts of my mcgraw hill book and that was all i needed. hth!

good luck!

The above post sounds right on. I have heard that the study guide wasn't very helpful for a fair number of people. But, I'm glad it has helped at least one person. :D I wouldn't focus on the tiny, minute details. There is a HESI outline on my site that you can download and could help you guide your study efforts.

Do you have an isbn number for the McGraw Hill book? is it McGraw-Hill's Nursing School Entrance Exams book?

That looks right. :D But, let's see if the original poster has something different. That's the first time I've seen the Mcgraw Hill study guide. I'm not familiar with it. Hopefully, the other person can give more insight.

Yes, that's it... I think the biology section is way better in this one.
