Gen. Psych in Summer, too hard?

I am thinking of taking General Psychology this summer - it meets for 6 weeks, 4 nights a week, 2 hours a night. Do you think this will be too hard to do in that short time? I have heard it will be a lot of reading and I am wondering if I will have to read several chapters every night to prepare for the next class since it is the very next day and accelereated. I am not sure if I can do it since I work full time.

Has anyone else done this? Do you find it to help you to get it out of the way faster, or did your grades suffer because of the fast pace?

Thanks!

P.S. My husband and I are also moving into a new apartment in the middle of all of this! Yikes! :uhoh3:

Gen. Psych is the EASIEST class I ever took! I did a summer session, we met 2 days a week for 3 or 4 hours each. My (wonderful) instructor told the greatest stories that made learning the information so easy and interesting. I say if you are going to take anything, this SHOULD be the one. Good luck to you, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Hello. I am taking Psychology Human Development now, it is a 4 week course and pretty brutal schedule. The first week we had to read 4 chapters and take 4 quizes, do a writing assignment and post discussion answers to each chapter. This week is pretty much the same, but we have a midterm also. Next week is 5 chapters. I started out last week by reading each chapter, but in taking the quizes for this week, I just read the book as I take the quiz. I learn the information, but not nearly so time consuming. I must say I like it, plus the course is already half over in it's second week.
