Well, all my pre-reqs are done! YAY! I officially ended the semester yesterday. Just waiting to find out my final grades. So far, looks like a have an A in everything, but Human Growth & Development might end up being a B (depending how I scored on the final)

Deadline for Fall/Spring cohort is March 1st. Acceptance letters go out the 3rd week of April. I am going to be a nervous wreck that week!!! I'm working on courses that are applicable to the BSN in the mean time. If I get accepted, I'll have a 9 month to 1 year gap until I start the program, so might as well be proactive, right?

Who else is ready to apply and is playing the waiting game? Let's hear from you!!!! :D

Congrats!!! I'm going to be applying this January - March too, but my program lets me take classes up until the summer, so I still have Micro and another Chem to do! So far I have A's also and hope to get it in Micro and the other Chem too :)

Then I'm hoping to get in! They posted the point counts for acceptence for the last two years and it looks like if I keep it up I might get in!! :D

I finished up my pre-reqs this semester and will be applying to the ADN program at my school this Jan. I still need to take the TEAS test but am very nervous about it.... I will also be taking classes towards my BSN so that I will not have a lot of classes to take later on. :) Hope we make it into the programs we are applying for.

Great job! I took the TEAS V today and scored an 84.7 and am hoping to get into ADN program with that. I have taken some of the pre-reqs, but not all yet because I have the option to get in with just a good score. Good luck on the TEAS! With your grades, you should do well! :)

I finished my pre-reqs this semester, too! I'm applying for the fall '13 semester in Jan/Feb, and I won't find out until the end of February. In the meantime, I'm taking a Stats class that applies toward the BSN.

The waiting is just about killing me. I'm a 5th year student (I almost graduated with an art history degree), and I feel like just I've been in school for so long!

Good luck to everyone! :)

I take my a&p1 final tomorrow, have 5 weeks of break to finish my application packets, and then start my last pre req (a&p2) at the end of January. I am applying to multiple BSN programs throughout Maryland for fall 2013. I graduate this may with 2 associate degrees, one in pre nursing and one in psychology (I took psychology electives) & a letter of recognition in aging studies. So nervous but excited for all the new things to come!!

Dang, Zoe, you've been busy! All those A.A. this and letter of recognition that. :)

I'm waiting too. Just finished my last pre-req (Micro), and got my A. I have already applied to my program of choice (an accelerated ADN), and am foolishly not applying to anything else at this time. I just don't have the money for my BSN right now and am not prepared to take on the amount in loans I would need to get through it. I think my chances of getting accepted are pretty good, so *hopefully* I won't need a plan B this go-round.

In the meantime, I'm trying to work as much as possible and get my life under control (I know, a lofty goal) before starting the program in May. I want to take some sort of class to keep my mind busy - maybe a music class or something - but at the same time, I'm not keen on spending tuition money that I don't have to. So we'll see what I can find.

Lol I didn't plan to get them. I was in another major and switched into nursing, so the advisor told me I qualified for the degrees. So I was like ok I'll just stay at my cc and graduate ha. Maybe you could take classes that go towards a later bachelors degree? I know a lot of my friends have done that.

I'm also done with my pre-reqs and graduating with my AA in general studies this month :) I'm taking next semester off to apply to BSN programs and to spend some quality time with my daughter (shes 15 mos) before nursing school

Good job ladies! I am playing the waiting game! Have been for 3 yrs. I am on the waitlist....and where I live it is 3-5 years! :(

So in the meantime I have gotten my Associates in Health Information Management and am a semester away from my Bachelors in Health Care Administration. I figure they will come in handy when I finish with my RN and want to move into Case Management or Life Care Planning. I've got a plan...now I just need to start the program!!! :)

@Mandyroseallen, wow 3-5 years?! Where do you live?

Grand Rapids, MI. There is a huge medical system and lots of medical stuff going on here. There are 4 major hospital systems in the area that are constantly growing...so nursing and other med careers are what everyone is going to school for. So we all sit and wait for school.. :(
