Fall classes

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I was just wondering what everyone will be taking. I tried to get into A&P I but it was booked up and also the nursing director said it's very hard to get into it so to build our schedules around it. I hope to get into it come spring.

My fall class list is Microcomputer literacy (won't require much effort), Intro to Sociology, General Psych, Comp I (another easy class for me) and Basic Biological Concepts which wasn't required, but recommend for those who had been out of school for awhile. Actually the health sciences woman told me those who usually don't opt to take it either end up failing or barely passing A&P. It's a good thing to take it because the Microbiology professor also recommended it.

And was wondering if Sociology is boring. I opted to take it online but will go on monday nights to the college for psych.

same here- I waited too long now I can't get into A&P with the prof that i wanted....oh well....I am taking:

Psychology,

Ethics,

Humanities,

Speech,

and....this weird Computer class (2 Sat 8-5:lol2: )

I'm so excited about psych...I'm really interested in this class, i hope I won't be disappointed...

I am getting close to wrapping things up....I am enrolled in A&P 2 for the fall and payed $442.00 for it yesterday ;)

Chemistry

History 2

English 2

Dance (for my sanity!)

These are the last pre-req classes needed for the BSN. Already finished all requirements (pre and coreqs) for ADN.

Hey, I took SOC last year. The text can be a little dry, but my instructor had interesting stories from history to tell us to illustrate the lesson. Overall, it was a fairly easy class. :)

Almost finished with my pre-reqs as well for the ADN. Just taking one class in the fall--A&P II and will take the last one next semester--Microbiology.

]I just finished up Sociology and Human Growth and Anatomy this summer. I took both of the classes on-line, Sociology was very boring for me. We only had 4 tests that we only 15 questions each. It was easy, but very boring from my point of view. Human Growth was very interesting and I got a lot out of that class.

]College Algebra - Yuk, I've been putting this one off

]Biology w/ lab

]Speech - Another one I've put off

]Marriage and Family

]World History

]Hopefully it won't be so bad. I'm taking these in a classroom!!!

Just two classes (I only have four left):

A&P I

Dvelopmental Psych (The Life Cycle, they call it)

Next semester I take A&P II and Nutrition, and then (crossing fingers) real nursing school looms...

That's what I was afraid of.....dry and boring

But glad to hear it's easy. I figured it would be.

I ended up dropping that basic science class and added Professionals In Health- which is a course about HIPPA, OSHA, those things. It is a prereq. It means cutting another day of work because they don't offer it online but oh well, we'll manage.

Hello!!! I'm taking Anat & Physio II , Chem 101 & Intermediate Algebra...................Good luck to you finding an Anatomy & Physio class to get into....Try other campuses....

I am sure that we will be plenty busy with our A&P 2 class, if it's anything like A&P 1 we will study 24/7 I took Micro last semester and it's also a very demanding class. One at a time at this point is ok, good luck and maybe we can share A&P 2 battle stories ;)
