Taking a set of numbers (data set) and using them to find about 20 different numbers that are mostly some sort of "average". I hated stats. That's great that you get a choice! I had to take both. Had I gotten a choice, I'd take College Algebra any day!

It's also a higher level math then College Algebra and to me it's easier. I took it in a combined Statistic, Trig, Precalculus course called Contemporary Math and it was easier than the Precalc stuff.

So taking Stats would be a wise choice, in my opinion. Good luck to ya!

I have taken regular stats and business stats and based on that I would take college algebra. Its easier. You just have to practice those math problems in oder to get good at them.Statistics is about the probability of ___________ occurring, or a odds against or for ____________.
