I want to apply to cal state programs for fall 2019 ,but I'm not sure if I meet the requirements.

I'm not going to be done with all my nursing prereqs until Spring 2019 if everything goes as planned.

Does anyone know which Cal State Nursing Programs allow you to have in progress pre reqs at the time of application?

From what I've seen so far the following schools ; Sac State, SFSU, Stanislaus, and Chico State allow in progress classes.

Are there any other schools that allow in progress classes?

Is there anyone who's taken the TEAS yet? I'm registered to take it this August ,but I'm not sure if I have enough time to prepare because I'm also taking summer classes.

Lastly, should I take Microbio or Physio first? I've taken Anatomy already and taking Chem this summer. I've heard both these classes are extremely different and am afraid if I fail one of these classes this fall I'll be unable to apply to the nursing program.

Hi Anyn! I am in a similar situation! I will finish my nursing prereqs in the Spring of 2019. The program I will be applying for is CSU San Marcos. This program DOES allow prereqs to still be in progress at the time of application. I will be applying for acceptance into the Fall 2019 program. I would recommend looking into CSU San Marcos Nursing website as they are very organized and clear about all requirements. Specifically, I would recommend you look at their "Application Deadlines" page as it clearly lays out the entire application process.

I have attended this University this year and have enjoyed my time there so far! The program is greatly impacted but it never hurts to apply!

Hope this helped and good luck with the whole application process! I know it can be quite stressful!

I applied 8 schools of CSU, I think Bakersfield allows prerequisite in progress, Channel Islands,Long Beach. I am taking Teas next month. Finger crossed, I hope can get in one of them. I don't mind to move, who accept me, I go.
