Are you over 45 and just accepted?

  1. I'm wondering how many have just been accepted and are over 45 because I am.

I'm 45 and I start LPN program in July. I'm a firm believer that you are NEVER to old when it comes to fulfilling your dreams.

    Good luck to ya!

I'll be 45 in June and I received my acceptance letter a few weeks ago....I went from SO excited to pertrified in just a few days. I think it was due to the immunization problem. My records are not complete. So, I had to do the titers. Still waiting for the results of those. And, I have a deadline of April 30--if I don't meet this deadline...my spot goes to someone else. All of this is starting to overwhelm me. Anyone else experiencing this problem? Congrats everyone!!:wink2:

I have to get titers also. I just got my acceptance letter today so I haven't even begun yet. Good luck to you, Veronica!

you are definitely not the lone ranger in being a "non-traditional" student in nursing school....in my class, i think we're the majority!! and there is one of the other classes where it looks like a half-dozen or so are sixty!!!

    welcome and best wishes!!
