Another cool site, somewhat A&P-related, is The Virtual Autopsy.

It might be a little too morbid for some, but I think it's perfect for the pre-nursing anatomy student. It's got numerous case studies that include a patient history, pics of various organs, and the rationales behind a particular cause of death.
This site is from the UK, so US students will find some terms with unique spellings. The site is really good for those times when you know you should be studying, but you'd rather play instead.

A&P II was awesome, that is when all the information that you got in A&P I will come full circle. It is harder than A&PI, there is a lot more info, but it is a lot easier to grasp the concepts because you have been exposed to the subject in A&PI, at least it was for me. If you ask me a god instructor will make for a GREAT learning experience. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought is was pretty funny how you misspelled "good instructor". I definitely agree that any class that is taught by a god is usually a profound learning experience.
I am looking forward to taking APII this semester and take advantage of any links. I know that the Allnurses AP I club really helped me out alot with all of the great links! Good idea!

I'm in. Classes start Aug 21 for me, and my application for Spring 2007 admission is due Aug 31.
Same prof as I had for A&P I. I liked her and the subject, so this fall should be fun. I'm taking Micro concurrently and, honestly, pretty excited about it. Conceptualizing/visualizing/comprehending this information really is mindblowing, after all. These are the only remaining prerequisites for me, though I'm taking Art Appreciation and two gym classes so I can pick up an AA degree this fall.
Well, best of luck!

I am taking A&P II, micro, chem II and sociology this semester. Lord, please help me survive!!!!! I did take A&P I and chem I over the summer. Ended up with an A in A&P and a B in Chem. Classes start next week. I already bought my micro book and it looks really interesting. Good luck everyone!!!

Thank you for posting these. DayToNight also sent me some links that I need to get in the thread. The last few days have been a little wilder than I had expected, but I will get them in for those starting school next week.
You are a brave soul. I would never make it with all of those classes. All the Science classes have labs:no:
Good luck, and I am sure you will do fine with it. I'm just glad it isnt me.

Starting A&P II in just over a week. I'm taking it online, with a two-hour lab on Saturdays. I'm going with the same instructors I had for A&P I; they weren't very good, but I figure I know their "methods" so I can deal with it.
Also taking Stats...I'm more concerned about THAT class than the A&P
here are just a few that daytonight sent me. there will be many more to come.
