I just submitted my ADN progrm application yesterday, I will find out if I am accepted in April. My question is what should I study to start preparing for the nclex? I took the hesi a2 test as entrance for nursing and scored 92 overall. I have no idea what the nclex will have. Is it similar to hesi? What books may I study in preparation for hesi? And please tell me, what is suzanne's plan. I have read this in many posts, in general terms, what is it and how may I have access to it. I am starting to get a little freaked out with nclex and I haven't even started nursing school!!:plsebeg::dncgcpd:Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't worry about studying for the exam until you are either near or just graduated. You are going to have enough on your plate with school work to studying the exam.

By the time you finish nursing school you will have an idea of where you stand and you will have plenty of time to prepare. Concentrate on what is in front of you now and your NCLEX will take care of itself in due time. Good luck with nursing school.
