It's official, I now hold the title of Registered Nurse!!! Thanks everyone for your support and great advice during my second attempt at the dreaded NCLEX. I would have to say that the Saunder's review helped me the most, and I am so glad that it's over...for now. Like a glutton for punishment, I am considering my BSN before too much longer...LOL. Take care my people, and thanks again....Man, I am stoked!!! Peace...out...:rotfl:

And stoked you should be! Congratulations!!! Don't do like me and wait 15 years to get that BSN, only makes it harder. In the meantime enjoy yourself and good luck in your career! :)

Congratulations on passing the NCLEX. I have to retake it soon also. I am wondering, aside from the questions obviously being different, was the test set-up pretty much the same as the first time you took it? I mean...priority, math, delegation...assuming that you had these the first time.
Someone told me that when she took the exam the second time, it was all Pediatrics. I don't understand how the test can be given on only certain topics. I would think there would be a range of topics (Peds, OB, etc.) in order to fully assess the individual's knowledge base. This question is free-game to anyone who may have the answer. Thanks.

Pie 123,
The majority of my questions were also peds. There were some med surg, physc, math etc... thrown in, but for the most part it was peds. (I swear I think my parent child instructor called the NCLEX people and told them how peds was my worst subject)
Anyhoo, good luck and CONGRATS Discouraged, it is a great feeling isnt it?
