I am in Illinois and I passed my boards last Thursday. Does anyone know how long it will take before I get my license in the mail?

It took me about 2 weeks after I tested to get my letter from the state.

I got my letter yesterday and I tested on the 11th of July. My friend says it takes about another week to send that letter off and for your lic. to show up on Illinois Board of Nursing Lic. lookup. Ugh....so over waiting.....I got a job waiting for me...and I'm tired of doing CNA work. I've been doing for 4 years.....I'm ready to be a nurse already!!!! Arghh!!!! God give me patience with paper work! lol:smackingf

Received my pass letter 12 days after I tested (it may have been sooner... I didn't check my mail bc of a weekend getaway). Sent my license application two days ago. When should I expect to see my license number on the BON? For some reason, this is the most (and only) exciting part of the NCLEX nightmare for me.

Hope the OP is enjoying working as an RN, everyone else too!
