I am anticipating starting my LPN program starting in August, but with all schools closed and life in general put on pause, I'm worrying about starting on time. I am a CNA at a hospice facility so am focused on working and taking care of my patients at the moment, but my mind is also worried about my fall program. Has anyone heard from their school if their program will be delayed or cancelled? TIA.

I know how you feel. I applied to my local BOCES VoTech program a few weeks ago. I picked the worst time to apply. As far as I know, the nursing students there are doing everything online and continuing as normal.

I haven't heard anything back about my application but I drove by the school this morning and there was a car there. The next step in my application is to take the TEAS but I feel that won't be scheduled for a while because of this.

Update: my program director emailed me and said they weren’t allowed to enter the building, but they would contact me to set up my TEAS as soon as they can!
