Now that I've been trained in babycare and postpartum care..I can tell you without a doubt that I prefer to Just work L&D. All that sticking baby and watching circs is not my cup of tea. Give me L&D anyday.
Anyone else feel the same?

I feel the same way, but it's more because I prefer to give more personalized care to one or two patients and spend a lot of time with them and really feel like I'm making a difference, than split my time among 3 different couplets and constantly be running around and feeling like little more than a high-priced waitress most of the time. I feel more valuable and more effective as an L&D nurse than as a M/B nurse.
