Hello,

Is there anyone currently attending Athabasca University (specifically- someone from outside of Alberta, coming from Ontario), who knows if you have to be working in Alberta to apply for and attend the Athabasca Post-LPN Bachelors of Science in Nursing? I know you need to have a LPN/RPN d\ipolma, LPN/RPN license with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta, and have 1,700 hours or 1 year of full-time work as a LPN/RPN to qualify. But I'm specifically wondering if you also have to be working in Alberta at the time of your application and if you have to remain working in Alberta while in the program?

In a nutshell no.  You have to come here for the practical hours.
