I have a patient who is 75 years old. she is 1 year past chemo and radiation. she began at 4 with the diagnosis. she had an infection just after that lasted about a month and had aggressive antibiotics. she had her gallbladder removed years ago. she is having bouts of diarrhea. said she is on the edge of irritable bowel syndrome. she is lactose intolerant. tires but is active. what is prognosis post breast cancer at this age. she does eat cream cheese and other cheeses each day and starts each day with 2 pieces of bread, sandwich for lunch. drinks lots of water. takes a pill for lactose intolerance when eating sugar free ice cream. eats sugar free cookies 0 Likes
Reddy,RN Jun 2, 2005 I'm not sure I understand the question. if "began at 4" means the cancer wasn't found until stage 4 then maybe the following will be helpful. I found it by googling "stage iv breast cancer."http://patient.cancerconsultants.com/breast_cancer_treatment.aspx?id=664hope this helps 0 Likes
