Hello Ladies and Gents!
Everyone is very helpful and I seriously need your honest opinion. I've been working for the hospital as a Medical Biller for 2 1/2 years and with nice pay. This summer I received my CNA license. Now I have an upcoming internal interview as Patient Care Technician. Do you guys think that if they pick me to perform this job that they will lower my pay??...I'm not in this for the money because this is my stepping stone to getting my LPN to RN.. on the job posting they don't have the pay information nor I don't want to ask any PCT's their pay here at the hospital. Help! Thanks a bunch!:uhoh21:

I would talk to HR on that one. They can lower your pay in some cases but it all depends on the facility. I believe the hospital where I work the secretary's get paid less than CNA's so it doesn't matter to them.
Good luck...
