Hello
I am researching Home Health Nursing.
Would like to know the positive things about it from those who are home health nurses.
Would also like to know some Negative things about it,,,to get both sides of the spectrum.
Thanks!

Hi,
I find home health nursing very hard on my back. It's not always possible to use good body mechanics in a home environment so that, to me, is a negative. It's the only one that I could come up with.

POSITIVES NEGATIVES
+you're not stuck in an office - you are stuck in traffic
+more autonomy - no one to ask in an emergency
+fewer patients - more paperwork
+less acutity - harder to get docs to call back
+cute little puppies - big scary dogs
flexible schedule - hard to get organized with
patients cancelling
- your car is your office
-in and out of your car 15 times
a day in rain and snow
-dangerous situations
-filthy houses
++++YOU make a huge difference in someone's life
