[PACNWNURSING]

It appears in my job search that no hospitals in the area hire LPN's to do floor nursing, including Southwest Washington Medical Center. Yet they are going to open 2 More LPN schools in this area. Does this make sense ? The market is going to be flooded with LPNs looking for work? I am not interested in working in a nursing home. Has anyone found the same trend with with hospitals in this area? Thank you.

I have heard rumors, mind you rumors that some of the Legacy hospitals are looking at a team nursing model and are considering opening up to LPN's. I know of a few LPN's where I work now, but they have been around for about 5 years, and they haven't hired any more since they came on
