Hi everyone,
I'm a new member here though have been trolling the site for many years now. I am currently as we speak in my last class for my PMHNP degree and plan on taking the exam in a month or two or whenever my paperwork is complete for them to proceed.
I was wondering what the passing rate was for the ANCC PMHNP exam? I have a great background in psychiatry and have gotten all A's in grad school, but I'm afraid my nerves may get the best of me. I am preparing by using the ANCC review book and ANCC questions.
What should I be worried about for this exam?
Any pointers or even better, any words of encouragement to boost my morale and self-confidence!
Thanks,
Steve

Steve I feel the same way. Been studying since I graduated in June. Have done Fitzgerald and used the ANCC book. I also bought the practice tests from the ANCC website. There's something about this test that scares me. Some days I feel like I'm ready and other days I doubt it. 8 of us got together after school and have created a Facebook page. So far 6 have passed. They all say the test is easier compared to the practice tests. I have been tempted to change my date several times but have left it the same as I want to cool down with this unnecessary anxiety. I can't wait to get this over with.
I am so nervous, took the first ANCC practice test and got a 65% Not very confident filling.
