if this is a dream, i'm loving it!!!!!

i was shown this am what my base pay is, after the raise that was effective july 1st. i got a 17% raise!!!!!

"damn!!!", was the first thing out of my mouth (after i picked my jaw up off the floor). :eek: :eek:

Wow!!! That is awesome, talk about retention, I would hestitate to leave there now!!! The best I ever got was in the mid-eighties, when we were having the first (of my era) nursing shortage, we got 12% and I was happy as a clam about that, so I can imagine how great this is for you!!!

Gee, 25 years experience and got .70 cent/hr raise....more than others due to committee work I'm on. MAX was 3 1/2% due to skyrocketing malpratice in area wiping out ANY profit for health system.

Congratulations...don't you just love the word raise, especially when it is followed by the words 17%. But I have to be completely nosey now.....what does that make your base rate now?
