Please help!! i want to get out of my contract!!

Hi! is anyone there can help me how to get out of my contract? I've been here in new york for four months without a job!!.. i am still waiting for my att to arrive.. i am thinking about applying for the limited permit.. will that help me? how long will it take?

I am under contract in a staffing agency.. if i breached it, i will pay 50,000$!!!!:madface:

in the contract, i should suppose have a job under a limited permit.. but when i arrived here, they told me that they haven't find me a job yet!!! what am i suppose to do????? :angryfire

do i have to tell the embassy about it? where? PLEASE HELP!!:o

They brought you over without even the limited permit? I have a good idea as to who it is................ Do you already have your green card in hand?

Actually the agency is in direct violation of what they agreed to do as far as immigration goes to get approval for you to come here. You are an employee of theirs, and they agreed that they would have full-time work for you..when you arrived, not four months later.

Definitely contact the Consulate for your country in NY, as well as the US Embassy in your country. There needs to be a stop put to this. And this is the only way that it is going to happen.
