Please help! Test this sunday! Pn-nursing assessment for lpn

Published

HI,

I really can use any information, or advice from anyone right now! I am sooooo stressed out! i applied to a LPN and they require an assessment test in order to enter the program. The test is broken down into three sections. One is reading comprehension/reading ability, two is numerical ability, three is language ablitity/antonyms, synonyms, vocabulary. The problem is that my exam is this sunday febuary 22nd 2009, and i am totally freaking out. I have been waiting to get into this school for over a yr already! I took the practice exam but i wish i had more information, i feel as if that one practice exam wasnt enough. I am desperate and really need any advice, tips, websites anything! My dream as a child was always to become a nurse, and hopefully my dream can come true with the help of u guys!!!! Thank u soo much!!!

there are a few different nursing school entrance exams... i have taken three different ones and they are actually quite similar, although some focus more on the science/math while others focus more on reading comp... depending on which you take.

try this website: www.testprepreview.com and look at the TEAS, TABE, HOBET, NET or NLN prep (not sure which one you are taking... but wouldn't hurt to try a few questions from each!)

good luck!

Hello :)

Is it the NET you are talking about? If so, do not worry! It isn't too hard, just brush up on basic math skills (fractions, dec, ratios, percents) and reading comp. skills. Here are 2 links with NET practice questions that I used for review (and passed with!):

http://www.testprepreview.com/net_math_practice.htm

http://www.testprepreview.com/net_reading_practice.htm

However, there was NO adding and subtracting at all and the reading comp was more 'involved' than the practice ones in that link. The math was pretty helpful though.

Good luck!

Thank u soooooo much!!! :) have a great wknd hun!
