So I went to hunter college yesterday to take the NLN PAX exam...and just checked the result today online.
But have no idea what these numbers mean.
Composite Score: 135
Composite Percentile Score:
DI AD ALL
97 93 94
Can anyone please explain what these numbers mean??
So nursing schools will review my composite score? or score by each section???
Is my score okay to get into nursing school??
I was soooo nervous because I haven't taken 3 hour long standardized exam in an ages...
and Ive been only studying for a week...and english is my second language..all these made me sooo nervous
but glad it's over now My next exam is HESI A2 exam in march...
If anyone have taken HESI exam, would you share any information? like how hard it is, how long it is.
Thank you!!!!!!

97% of persons in the diploma program norms group received your composite score of 135 or lower.
93% of persons in the associate degree norms group received your composite score of 135 or lower.
94% of persons applying to any of the 3 types of programs received your composite score of 135 or lower.
Since each program seems to have slightly different requirements, it is best to check with your program(s) of interest to determine if there is a minimum composite score, percentile, etc. that they require.
I would think your score should be ok to get into nursing school, but it depends on the program in question and the scores the other applicants receive.
Some programs will rank applicants solely on PAX composite score, while others (such as the one I applied to) will require a minimum composite percentile and consider other areas such as pre- and co-req GPA, previous degrees earned, number of classes completed, etc.

Sounds like you did well on the test, congrats!
I take mine next week...can you tell me what the website was that you checked your score on? Thanks!
mine was a computerized exam. ( i first thought it would be written exam, but it wasn't) you can check your score after 24 hours by logging into your account at https://www.nlnonlinetesting.org/
good luck on the exam!
I was actually able to check my score right after I finished! We really weren't supposed to, but the exam administrators didn't mind since I was one of the last 3 students to finish (and by the time I ran the report, we were all finished.)
yea, chicagoing you are correct. technically, you can check your score right away but my proctors said it might delay my score to hunter college so I couldn't do it until today. Nurse2b013, make sure you check with the proctors
Thanks! My test will be written, but I'm still going to try to check my score at that website. I'm soooo nervous!!!
