Playing The Waiting Game After The Nclex

i dont know about your state, but here sometomes nurses have actually gone onto hte department of health website where there is a listing of who has nursing liscences. They saw their name there with an RN behind it before they got their results from the NCLEX. Its worth a try

BTW- if the computer shut off at 75 questions, unless you feel like you did very poorly, that is supposed to be a very good sign

Feel lucky. When I took it in 1997, we had to wait 10 days to 2 weeks for snail mail.

Boy are you guys lucky to find out your results so quickly. I wish it was like that here in Ontario. Here we have to wait 4-6 weeks to see if we have passed our liscencing exam, so count yourselves lucky! I wrote my boards on June 9/04 and got my results July 10/04. I wish I could only wait a week or two!! Count yourselves lucky! Congrats to the OP on passing the NCLEX......Way to go!!

we live in an age in which we are very lucky. there was a time in which the test took two days and one had to wait at least 6-8 weeks before they knew they passed. i do not know what i would do! go crazy, i guess!
