My pinning ceremony was today and it was actually bitter-sweet. I thought that I would be so excited that this day is finally here but I'm actually sad. I didn't think that I would feel this way, I'm really going to miss my classmates. Over this past year I have spent more time with these people than I have my own family and I'm going to miss them:o

I understand completely, mine was last night.
I guess it's normal to feel this way?

If you just went through an accelerated 1 yr program, that's a pretty intense experience. I went to my friend's pinning in October and I was crying and I didn't even know anyone there but her. It was an emotional experience watching all those people get pinned and recognized for their awesome accomplishment. It's understandable that you feel sad that the ride is over. Now you've got a great career to look forward to! Congratulations!!
Thanks! It was accelerated, we spent about 60 hours a week together with the study groups. Good luck to everyone.

I know I will be feeling this way in August. We are in a accelerated program and it is pretty intense. I really like everyone and feel so close to them already, I'm sure by august I'm going to be really emotional.
Try to keep in contact with them.
Congrats on finishing, how exciting.
Good luck in your career. :)
