Pinkeye

I think I have pink eye. I don't have insurance though. Can I get something over the counter to take care of it or do I need to go see a doctor and get a prescription?

there is some OTC stuff at Wal mart that you can get.

last time my grandson had pinkeye the Dr told me she didn't like prescribing abts for things like that and to soak cotton balls in a cup of cold tea and use them for compresses 2-3 times a day.It worked like a charm and was basically free.

I wanted to add that if whatever you use doesn't work be sure to get to the Dr anyway,it could be something other than pinkeye.This is coming from a women who lost most of her sight to an eye virus.
