Has anyone taken Physiology through Samuel Merritt University? I didn't find any reviews or posts here for science prereqs at SMU. I think some posts mentioned Patho and Pharmac but none mentioned the 4 science preqs: Chem, Anatomy, Physiology, Mircrobiology. Neither did I find anything on rate my professor.
I am not able to find any available spots in community colleges and even though it costs an arm and a leg, I will enroll because I don't want to miss my application deadline.
If anyone has completed their Physiology from SMU, I would really like to know your experience and if you would recommend it.
Thank you.

Hi. I guess you did look @ SMU for your course.
Just found this for you too.

Check the UC Extension classes. Not sure if you'll find reviews, but the one above may be cheaper?
Another:

Just make sure whichever class you choose, it can transfer to the college you're looking at. For California colleges, you can use ASSIST. Or contact the colleges directly.

Hi Mergirlc,
Thanks for these recommendations. I will look into these as well. Appreciate your help!
I did look at SMU and hoping to hear from someone who has actually taken Physio there. I also looked at UC Berkeley extension and the reviews were very bad.
I also looked into Johns Hopkins for prerequisites. I found quite a few posts here on allnurses. However, the duration is 10 weeks only so a lot packed into those 10 weeks and am sure they go very fast.
10 weeks is fast, but that's about the length of time for a Summer class at a community college. Sometimes it's even 8 weeks for a CC. It's doable, but you'll definitely end up doing physiology 24/7 in order to do well.
Just try to look up Extension classes under the CSU and UC systems. Something else might pop up for you.
Good luck!

Thank you! If you do happen to come across any review for Physio at SMU, could you please send it my way? Meanwhile I will look for another week and then enroll.
