PHSC 2015 Nursing Hopefuls

Hey everyone!

I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?

Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!

I wonder which campus everyone is wanting to attend for the transition ? Do they take location into consideration or is it simply the best composite scores ? I was told today there are only 12 seats for West campus for LPN, 24 are being filled with Paramedics and North has 36 seats... So total 48 seats open

Someone posted a couple pages ago it's on composite score and location but you your number 30 in the scores then if all seat at west campus is full you'd be placed at the other campus... something like that

Wish they'd have the paramedics go to Dade that is so far for me

1. Which program did you apply for? LPN to RN bridge. I did my LPN through PHSC also, in 2011.

2. Age? Just turned 30. :cry:

3. Specialty you hope to eventually work in? NICU

4. Any kids? Pets? Significant other? 3 kids, all girls. 2 cats, 1 dog, and 1 husband.

5. Favorite TV show? The Golden Girls! I've seen every episode a hundred times. Approximately.

4. Any kids? Pets? Significant other? 2 kiddos, both girls :-) 2 dogs, pug and boxer, and a husband.

5. Favorite TV show? Everything reality!!! Too many to list. Big brother my fav coming in 2 weeks!!!!
