Passed the NCLEX but finished Nursing in the Philippines, what are the chances of getting hired?

I am wondering the chances of being hired as a Nurse in hospitals in the State of Arizona, given the circumstances that I recently passed my NCLEX, but finished and graduated from my Nursing education here in the Philippines. I am also a U.S. Citizen.

I finished my BSN in 2010 and I am contemplating taking the Philippine Nursing Licensure Exam in 2020. I never took the boards because my family at that time moved to another country. Is this still possible? If so, how can I best prepare for the exam? I would appreciate your insight into this.

Going back to school for nursing degree does one have to start over?

My girlfriend would like to go back to school for nursing. She went to school for Bachelor of Elementary in Education (BEED). However, she is under the impression that if she goes it will take 5 years. In America (where I am from), usually the first year or so is math and other general education so when you transfer in a bachelor's you do not have to start from scratch. She's doesn't want to spend 5 years back in school again as that is what she thinks it will be. Does anyone have any idea on how long a program will take if you transfer in a bachelor's and coming back in for a second degree? I want to pay for her to go back to school (I'm American) and she is highly interested in going and I want her to have a skill. She has a baby on the way and she was going to take to restructure and prepare for her future career so I was hoping she could use this time to go back to school while I support her.

Hi, I'm still studying practical nursing in Canada. If I finish and complete practical nursing in Canada and gain 1-3 years of experience as an LPN, is my work and licensure valid in the PH? I'm a Canadian Resident holding a Philippine passport. I'm planning on working in Canada first to save money so I can work in PH. I have other passions so I'm using nursing as a way to earn money and pursue my dreams as an athlete. PH is one of the places that's a little bit cheaper when it comes to training. Prices in Canada are crazy so I want to save up here so I can work and train in PH, then go back to Canada again to save up some more.

Hi fellow nurses, specially to those Filipino nurses that NLE June2006 passer. I just want to take the NCLEX RN but having a doubt if CGFNS will allow me to take it since I am JUNE2006 passer. I know that CGFNS will be the one who will verify my credentials and will send it to BON so Im skeptical if I can be eligible to sit in NCLEX. Please help me to clear this issue. I just graduated and got my BSN degree in the philippines. I am a US citizen from cali and did not intend to take the Philippine board exam for I found it something that I did not need since I only came to the PH for the BSN degree because it was more affordable.

How to apply for a Certificate of good standing in PRC if Phil license has expired? I have been a nurse here in the US for more than ten years. I'm applying for a license endorsement to another state but must get a good-standing certificate from the PRC Philippines. Do I need to activate my Phil License to apply for the certificate because it won't allow me to proceed with the transaction if my Philippine RN license is expired? Any thoughts on this issue? Hi, I would like to know please if its still possible for inactive nurses like me to return to the Philippines and practice nursing. I am currently working in abroad in a non-medical field & I have been inactive for 4 years and 7 months from the time I graduated as a nurse in March 2011.

-Does anyone know if I need to take a Refresher course, and where can I accomplish this.
